VSIS Online

Vehicle Safety & Inspection Standards Online (VSIS Online) is a web-based subscription service providing access to the Vehicle Inspection Manual (Standards of Safety and Repair) and applicable BC Legislation. VSIS Online is produced in partnership with the Ministry of Transportation. The content on the site is continuously updated.

The Ministry of Transportation encourages all Vehicle Inspection Facilities to use this affordable service to ensure they comply with the law under Section 25 of the Motor Vehicle Act regulation. The MVA regulation requires Vehicle Inspection Facilities to have the most current vehicle safety and inspection standards, and related legislation such as the Motor Vehicle Act.

VSIS offers:

• A complete, interactive source of vehicle inspection standards and procedures for all classes of vehicles: cars, trucks, motorcycles, buses, and commercial vehicles;
