Frequently Asked Questions
Executive Vehicle Accidents, Vandalism & Incidents
All executive leases have full collision and comprehensive coverage in addition to $2 million third party liability; therefore, ANY accident, incident, or act of vandalism MUST be reported to ICBC Dial-A-Claim at 1- 800-910-4222, by the operator, regardless of who is at fault. All relevant data and cost information is captured by ICBC for these vehicles, so please ensure claims are filed directly with ICBC by the executive lease operator.
Operators of vehicles insured under our executive fleet policy are required to report to PHH Vehicle Accident Services (VAS) at 1-877-874-4862 or via email to bcgov@phh.com.
Obtaining repair estimates and contacting PHH regarding damage/repairs to executive leases is NOT REQUIRED. If the executive lease operator is not at fault ICBC will assume the entire cost of repair with no deductible payable. However, if the executive lease operator is at fault the following deductibles, payable by the ministry to the repair facility, apply:
Collision Damage: $300.00
Comprehensive Claim: $300.00
Executive lease operators MUST also contact police in all cases of injury or death, total damage exceeding $1,000 ($600 if motorcycle involved), any hit and run damage, or when directed by ICBC.
If you have any questions regarding executive lease vehicles please contact Brian Sugrue of Purchasing Services Branch 250 387-7334.
