Standard Users:

  1. work in metropolitan and urban areas such as Greater Victoria, Greater Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and other large cities throughout British Columbia, and
  2. work primarily during the business day within urban areas, with occasional long distance, roaming, evening and weekend calling.

Regional Users:

  1. are located and/or operate throughout BC, including remote areas,
  2. make frequent long-distance calls to urban areas in British Columbia,
  3. require strong, reliable signal strength with extensive geographical coverage,
  4. work primarily during the Business Day with occasional long distance, roaming, evening and weekend calling, and
  5. require user equipment replacement in a timely manner throughout the Province.

Seasonal Users:

  1. are located and/or operate throughout British Columbia, including remote areas,
  2. may require services all year with major use during certain seasons of the year and therefore have strong fluctuations in demand,
  3. may work at any time 24 hours per day 7 days per week, and
  4. require user equipment replacement in a timely manner throughout the Province

Special Users:

  1. are located and/or operate throughout BC, including remote areas,
  2. require unique features to support their line of work,
  3. may work at any time 24 hours per day 7 days per week,
  4. require user equipment replacement in a timely manner throughout the Province, and
  5. include but may not be limited to: ambulance workers who require strong signal strength from anywhere in the Province and service availability and tailored support services 24 hours per day and 7 days per week, and social workers visiting client residences who require cellular phones or data communications in case of emergencies or life threatening situations
